QUILL

Working on a series of drawings of my sculptures using a home made quill from a pheasants feather.
It gives a really dynamic line. Much more expressive than a metal dip pen.

NEW DRAWINGS

I have recently been working on a number of pen and ink drawings of sculptures. I am using a box of note paper from HMSO the I found in a skip many years ago. It is very thin and has a good quality for this type of drawing which I like.
Using a dip pen in a bottle of ink is a rewarding way to work.
