STUDIO PROGRESS

Progress of the studio extension. Starting to clad in re claimed tin. Lots still to do. It will be an area for storing found materials in an order where I will be able to go to like a library. Freeing up space in the main studio for working.

BUILDING STUDIO EXTENSION

Very busy at the moment building an extension to the studio. Quite a big job but making progress.
Had to set 20 posts on the ground first to create a level floor to work off. Following the roof line of the existing studio. Luckily I kept the doors and windows from the house improvements over a year ago. All managed to get back together. With a big sliding door. All very heavy, but worth while.

Need to get the tin roofing and cladding next. From a local company who make pig huts.

Lots still to do, as well as continue work in the studio. Its a busy time!!

THE RED HOUSE - BRITTEN-PEARS FOUNDATION

Really proud to have the Siren hut at The Red House in Aldeburgh.
Very interesting in the context of the The Red House location. The Britten-Pears foundation is a wonderful place to visit. Such a rich history in collecting art. Amazing archive building for the foundations collections.
