BRONZE

This is one of the new bronzes now showing at the Alde Valley Spring Festival. I have the first 4 bronzes on view. They are pieces relating to the on going Tide&time series.

Boat People. Bronze ed.6

NEW WORK

Some images of new work. Very busy working towards an exhibition coming up at the end of June. The Alde Valley Spring Festival is going well, and runs until the 20th May. Where I am showing among other pieces my first 4 bronzes.
Couple. Dark river oak from the river Alde.

A new wall hung construction.

Two figures. 'Siblings', as they are from the same piece of wood.

NEW FLINT

This is a really interesting flint I found at the river yesterday. There is a mixture of chalk and flint. Form and colour that I would like to incorporate in river castings.
Now the exhibition is up and running at the Alde Valley Spring Festival I am planning in some more time at my outdoor studio.

FROM THE STUDIO

Here are some photos from the studio. Lots going on. Not much room to move at the moment. Perhaps a Spring clean is in order. But sometimes the chaos suggests ideas. It is making Francis Bacons studio look well ordered at the moment.
I am thinking of adding a large covered area to the side of the studio, where I can work in plaster. This seems a good idea. Will be for the summer months though.
